Three Water Fishing

Option 1

San Juan del Norte – now San Juan de Nicaragua, was founded in 1538, played a leading commercial boom that lasted more than three centuries.

In 1847, the Miskito King George Frederic II baptized August Greytown Greytown in homage as the governor of Jamaica, granted Britain the right logging Arrival at Greytown land, capital of the municipality of San Juan de Nicaragua, reception in the port and transfer to hotel.

Lunch and departure to visit the ancient settlement of the town of Greytown during the trip will find all kinds of migratory and resident birds, alligators swimming serenely silent or sunbathing on the banks of the Rio Indio. It is difficult for the visitor to think that these remains that today are covered by dense foliage, were the most important commercial point of Nicaragua.

Option 3: GREYTOWN – RIO INDIO – GREYTOWN

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the Indian River for snook fishing (Catch and release), guapote, shad (Catch and release), Gaspar, croaker, sunfish, harriers, sawfish, sharks, tarpon, pound, sardines, tilapia, lobster. Dinner and farewell dinner.

 Option 4: GREYTOWN – SAN JUAN DE NICARAGUA

Day of fishing in the lakes and streams nearby San Juan de Nicaragua, will also venture into some of the local fishing techniques (flyfishing) in the lakes and streams of San Juan del Norte.

Indian River, for its abundant aquatic vegetation is the site of dispersal and reproduction of many species including the freshwater shrimp, crayfish, countless species of fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
