Option 1: SAN CARLOS-SOLENTINAME
Departure from San Carlos to the archipelago of Solentiname. This paradise is the cradle of primitive art from Nicaragua and other world-renowned artistic expressions inspired by the colorful, peace and natural wealth of Solentiname. By nature it is a bridge between the species of northern and southern hemisphere. Solentiname is the ideal nesting site for many migratory and waterfowl birds to escape the harsh cold northweather. Lunch and walking tour of Mancarrón Island with visit of different craft workshops including exchange experiences with artisans and artists. Night Tour: bird watching and alligators. Dinner and accommodation included.
Option 2: SOLENTINAME – ISLA SAN FERNANDO
Breakfast and tour of the San Fernando Island. Visit the Museum Solentiname (MUSES). The Museum’s goal is to enhance and promote the ecological heritage of the archipelago. Visit the workshops of artisans and artists of the island to continue dinghy to the island of Venada and admire the petroglyphs of the “Duende” Cave (troll cave) . Solentiname was for pre-Hispanic cultures a ceremonial site dedicated to water, fire and the dead, as threshold it was the place where they opened the doors to paradise.
Lunch en route. Dinner and free time to relax or hire any of the optional tours that offer the Solentiname Guides Association. Accommodation and dinner with cultural musical presentation included.
